Common questions

01Does this only work with DATEV Cloud, or also DATEV on-premise?
Both, but DATEV Cloud is significantly cleaner. The Cloud REST API is direct; on-premise needs DATEV SmartTransfer and XML interfaces. We assess which path makes sense in the workflow check.
02Will my data leave Germany?
No. DATEV Cloud is hosted in Germany. Our integration layer (n8n) runs on a German server we set up for you, or in our managed environment. Mandate data never touches non-EU services.
03How fast is a typical setup?
6–8 weeks from kickoff to live. First module (intake or document filing) goes live after 3–4 weeks; second and third follow incrementally.
04Do we need DATEV Anwalt classic for this?
No, but it works alongside it. The integration is built on top of DATEV's standard APIs (Cloud REST or SmartTransfer), independent of which DATEV product is in front.
